Fight!

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

This one my Favorite Pictures.

Always ask yourself this what are you fighting for.

When I am on my bike, I have a battle of the mind going on. You know when you get started on a ride you are all good to go and ready for anything. Somewhere in the midst of the ride you find yourself pushing self to the next miles. Today, there is a battle going on and it not on a bike this battle is for you soul.  Life is full of trials of mud holes, hills, lost of water that keeps us from moving forward at a speed that we would like or dreamed of  but the question is do you give up or do you find the fight in you ?

Have a blessed day and Dirty Kanza here we come ready or not!

Training!

1 Timothy 4:8English Standard Version (ESV)

for while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.

This morning! As I was thinking about the upcoming Dirty Kanza and the training that needs to happen. I have been riding my bike and planing for what to eat during the ride.  As I look at the upcoming week full of rain which means not much opportunity to train. The Lord will my strength.

My pray is this for all those in the Dirty Kanza is this - that as you ride those many hours spend time enjoying natures view and thanking the Lord for it!

Have a blessed Sunday

Life is a rut

Last Thursday went out for a group ride with the Human power company. During the ride, one of the riders was thrown into a ditch because their bike got stuck in a rut. The next thing that many other riders went to help. One of the riders help the other rider with a helping hand.
So let look at this. Sometimes our life get stuck in rut or off balanced and thrown in to a ditch of dispear. How we get out is reach up and grab the hand that is offered.
You see the Lord offers us a hand up or better yet a hand out of that ditch. God sent his only begotten son for each on us (John 3:16). This does not mean life will not save you going through ruts of life. The promise is that the Lord will give us the strength to get through.
My prayer for you is that you will grab the hand that is being offered to you.
